The Tower and the Bridge

What if creative institutions stopped seeing themselves as towers to be worshipped and became bridges instead.

A tower protects itself.

A bridge connects people.

A tower gives a viewpoint only to those allowed in.

A bridge gives everyone a new viewpoint.

People don't cross a bridge because they admire the bridge.

They cross because there's something worth discovering on the other side.

They help people access different parts of themselves.

The question has been:

What can we extract from culture so that it serves us?

Maybe the better question is:

How can we matter to people?

Not through campaigns.

Through experiences

Instead of saying:

"We own this."

They say:

"We love this."

This is the beginning.

I need people to build it with me.
